Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I share with you powerful teaching strategies that will help you build the writing ministry of your dreams.
For today's session, I want to add a little bit of flare and variety to my discussion of the Author Platform.
Last night, I had this dream in which I was talking to you about understanding the rules and procedures for succeeding in the online space.
About two years ago, I was watching a video presentation from Jeff Goins; and in it, he talked about knowing the rules of the game in order to thrive as a writer. He shared that once you understand the principles, you can then go out and win.
He also shared that sometimes--in fact, too many times--people want to remake the rules and follow their own guidelines. But all that does is lead them down a path of frustration and failure.
Goins argued that when he finally decided to play by the rules, he started experiencing success.
And as I lay asleep last night, this very teaching came to mind. So, I wanted to press forward in providing you this same teaching, because it is something that you must learn and adopt, starting today.
Today's article will be rather extensive, and will include my latest episode of EWP-TV. I delivered this teaching over on Facebook, because I have an audience of Christian Authors there as well.
The reason why I dive into many of the multi-layers of Christian Writerpreneurship is because I'm assisting you in building a writing ministry that will last.
No, I'm not trying to bombard you with information overload.
No, I'm not trying to dissuade your resolve to become a Christian Author.
And no, I'm not trying to scare you with all the lessons that I provide.
Instead, I'm giving you a reality check, especially because you are new to Christian Writerpreneurship. In fact, I was new to it myself until I started crafting the lessons that would help each of us better understand how to walk in our calling effectively.
And now that the principles are in place, the next step is to get you and other new Christian Authors to appreciate the magnitude of what you possess. In other words, you must come to value the rules and guidelines, because when you do, you find yourself in position to win as a Christian Writerpreneur. And my story serves as a living witness of this.
So, let's jump right into today's teaching on "Are you winning in this game of Christian Writerpreneurship?" I'm confident that it will bless you.
Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I help you develop the skills you need to build your powerful writing ministry.
For today's article, let's explore more about constructing your Author Platform. I've been discussing this topic quite extensively with you and my other audience members, because it's important to your growth and success.
Far too often, new Christian Writerpreneurs become too anxious with their dreams. They see themselves writing great books, and they jump right into the publishing and selling phase without setting up the foundation for their authorship.
When it comes to generating consistent sales, they are found wanting. They can't seem to grasp why no one wants to purchase their product, especially because they believe the Lord gave it to them to deliver to others.
But it's not that the product, i.e. the book, isn't any good.
It's that the audience hasn't been created, and the loyal readership is lacking.
And that's why I've decided to spend some time addressing this matter of Author Platform on the blog, on EWP-TV, and with my Tribe and e-mail list .
For today, especially, I want to highlight why cultivating your Author Platform is crucial to your writing ministry.
More specifically, let's take a look at how building your platform helps to establish your authority and credibility with your intended audience. This article includes my most recent episode of EWP-TV, so I won't do too much writing because the video explains a lot.
So, grab your notepad and pen, and let's get started in understanding this topic in more detail: "How Your Author Platform Helps You Build Credibility and Authority Online."
Greetings Christian Author and Future Writerpreneur,
I pray that you are well.
Welcome to today's Empowering Post, where I will teach you valuable lessons that will impact your Christian authorship.
If you are new to my writing ministry, I want to briefly introduce myself and what I do for new writers like you.
I'm Felecia Killings, and I help aspiring authors cultivate a writing ministry that will last a lifetime. I strongly believe that God has anointed writers spread throughout the world, ones who will help Him usher in the revival that was prophesied decades ago. I believe that you and I are just as important to the Lord as the Pastor, Apostle, and Evangelist; and without the gift of writing, no ministry can ever look to grow and expand.
But I also believe that in order to walk in this calling as one of God's writers, we must be well-trained. I have spent the majority of my adult life perfecting this skill in Christian writerpreneurship, and teaching others how to grow in it. And I'm honored that now I can assist writers like you to build writing ministries that will be powerful, profitable, and life-changing. And this leads me into this post's main topic.
For today's article, I want to discuss the importance of mentorship or coaching. When I first began working with Christian Authors, I did not realize how many of them needed assistance in this area. I made the assumption that every new Christian Author knew how to build their writing career just as I did; but this was not so.
And since discovering this gap in the Christian market, I have cultivated myself as a professional coach and mentor to Christian Authors from around the world.
This aspect of my business is not far from what I did as an English instructor to high school students and adult learners. In fact, many of the teaching strategies that I developed over the years are also employed when I work with Christian Authors like you. And I want to share with you the many benefits of having a writing coach--a Christian one, at that--who can help you build your work on a solid foundation.
New authors who have made the decision to invest their time and resources into their writing ministry, including hiring a dynamic coach, have witnessed great success in their work. And in a moment, I will share why this is so.
But for now, I want you to consider how far you wish to go in this journey as a Christian Writerpreneur. Because in truth, you can only succeed based on the vision and current training that you have.
In other words, your writing ministry will be limited unless you are willing to work with someone who can take you further in your work. You need someone who is more skilled and advanced than you so that your ideas become a reality.
And that's what a great mentor and writing coach will do for you.
So, here's what you can expect from today's Empowering Post, Christian Author. In this article, you will learn:

Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I share powerful tips that will help you build a thriving writing ministry.
For today's article, let's spend some time discussing what I believe is a fundamental topic within Christian writing: the Author Platform.
Over the last couple of weeks, I've been teaching on this subject matter with my audience on EWP-TV, and I felt it was important to construct an Empowering Post on it as well. If you have not developed your own platform yet, or maybe you're struggling to get people to visit your site, then I believe today's article will help you tremendously.
And with today's teaching, I want to address three main parts of understanding and building your Author Platform. Here they are:
