Greetings, Christian Author,
Have you ever thought about what it takes to build your successful writing ministry?
I'm sure you have, and while you may watch as others seemingly excel at this craft, you're wondering if it's possible for you to experience the same success with your own writing ministry.
I felt the same way, too, back in 2015. Although I had spent some years working as a freelance writer and editor to other Christian Authors and Ministry Leaders, I became frustrated with my business's progress. I wanted to know the secrets to other entrepreneurs' success so that I could see similar results with my company.
But what I realized was not every strategy and every story fit within my own world. I discovered back then that if I wanted to see my writing ministry flourish, I would need to develop strategies that fit within my particular niche of Christian authorship. And I did just that.
Perhaps you're feeling the same way. You're lost in terms of which strategies will work best for your writing. You want your business to succeed. And you even dream of making this option your full-time career. But in spite of these dreams, you have a major obstacle: not knowing what to do exactly.
But the answers are not as far and wide as you think. In fact, I believe that you were drawn to this article because you recognize that there's something about it that will help you get on the right track.
And I believe strongly in the leading of the Holy Spirit, and so should you.
What I'd like to do right now is share with you something about my writing ministry and why this is the perfect virtual location for you. And once I'm done, I will share with you this powerful product that I developed, which I know will empower your writing ministry.
As I mentioned earlier, I have been working with Christian Authors and Ministry Leaders for many years (since 2011). And what I've discovered among those who excel with their writing ministry is that they treated their authorship like a business.
In other words, they recognized that in order to prosper, they had to implement business-like strategies into their writing venture. And those who did not treat their writing ministry like a business only went so far.
And I have to admit, Dear Christian Author, that I fell victim to this same negative results. Although I had readily coached my former clients about the need to treat their writing venture like a real business, I failed to do it with my own writing ministry.
That is until 2015 when everything changed. I recognized my own faults and failures, and determined that at all costs, I would see this ministry thrive. But it didn't happen overnight.
In fact, it took me nearly 15 months before I began to see dramatic results come from my months of labor. I tilled over the existing research on how to create a great online business. I labored over best marketing practices. I searched for Christian experts who could teach me how to build wealth in the self-publishing industry.
And you know what I discovered? There was nothing much for us in this industry. Oh, yes, there were thousands of Christian coaches who could teach me how to write a book (but I already mastered that skill). And there were some Christian coaches who could talk to me about marketing (but their methods were old and out-dated).
And that's when I realized that if I wanted to bust through this glass ceiling, I would have to create my own products and services that took the best practices of many business persons, and translate this information to my ideal audience: You and other Christian Authors and Ministry Leaders.
And this brings me to my discussion about you and how my latest product will help you tremendously. Announcing my first in a series of 15 webinar packages: How to Make Money Blogging as a Christian Author.
What's So Important about Blogging as a Christian Author?
Now, if you're wondering what blogging has to do with you excelling as a Christian Author, then allow me to explain.
By this time, you may already be aware that in virtual land, blogging is a hot topic. You can find thousands of articles that teach writers how to make money with their blogs.
You may have come across influencers who have discovered ways to earn millions of dollars through the use of their blog. And these same individuals will tell you that "You can, too," as if to imply that this is an easy method for generating wealth.
Blogging is the great buzz word, but for what reason?
The answer is much more dense and complicated than you realize. Blogging is not simply about a brand or business writing articles about anything. Instead, blogging is a form of content marketing, which is a method used by SUCCESSFUL businesses (small and large) to provide free value to their customers and readers.
It basically works like this: An influencer will create an article that teaches a reader about how to do something. Within that great article, the reader will learn about that influencer's product or service. And because the article shares empowering insight (and helps the reader achieve something), then this builds trust between the reader and influencer. The reader then decides to learn more about the influencer and his/her product or service. And over time, after this positive relationship has been established, then the reader will purchase a product or service.
That's basically how this works.
And if you're thinking to yourself that this is a form of manipulation, then you've missed the whole point, because it's not.
You have to understand that as the one constructing this form of content marketing tool, the influencer spends hours and hours, putting together a product that he knows will help you. Behind-the-scenes, there are months of development and research, and often times, that influencer is not compensated for the work that went into the product...at least, not until he starts making sales.
And on top of that, the influencer must create a compelling blog post that will teach you more about the product in a persuasive and engaging manner.
In other words, the influencer does not have time to manipulate you because he is spending so much time wanting to EMPOWER you!
But what does this mean for you as a Christian Author, and why would blogging be beneficial to you?
The answer goes back to the message I mentioned earlier: that successful Christian Authors are those who treat their writing ministry as a business. And if you can see yourself as a small business person, an entrepreneur, then you must understand that your success is determined on what you implement in your business.
And for Christian Authors, employing blogging into your marketing plan is the best way to build your brand, build your audience, and generate an income for your writing ministry. But there's more that you need to understand.
Did you know that the Christian buying market is a multi-trillion dollar one? In fact, according to research, the number is over $5-trillion. (So much for assuming that the Body of Christ was a poverty-stricken institute.) And here's more:
"The buying power of the Believer is greater now than it was two years ago, and it will only continue to grow...Here’s an interesting fact: Believers have a strong desire to purchase products that are created by other Believers who share the same moral background" (excerpt from The EWP Manual for the Christian Blogger).
So, as you can see, you have an opportunity to create a writing ministry that ministers to God's people (and others); but you must first learn how to reach them. And my empowering product will show you how.
How Blogging Revolutionized My Writing Ministry (and It Will for You, Too)
I have to admit that back in 2015, I didn't see the value of blogging. Although several bloggers "told me" that this was the right thing to do, I felt like it was actually a waste of time. But that's because I didn't see it as a marketing weapon.
Once I decided to test out what I had learned, I quickly realized that I had missed out on so many opportunities simply because I did not employ this method.
So, when I began blogging about topics that my ideal clients found interesting, I started generating more revenue because these readers hired me to perform editorial services for their manuscripts...
And then my blogs started generating more interest in terms of my marketing services...
And then Ministry Leaders wanted me to work on their own writing ministries as their publisher and ghostwriter...
And then more Christian Authors wanted me to coach and train them...
And then a demand for my online school emerged...
You see, blogging bust through that glass ceiling for me, and created opportunities that I did not expect.
But it wasn't simply me writing about what I wanted to write. I had to be strategic with my blog, because strategy is key for any successful business. I had to write about what my audience needed and wanted to learn. I had to construct powerful articles based on research; and the more I did this, the more my readership grew; the more my clientele grew; the more my student enrollment grew; and ultimately, the more my revenue grew. And this is what I share with you in my webinar package.
How Your Writing Ministry Flourishes through Blogging
Did you know that blogging is the key to generating an addicted audience, which will then build your writing ministry?
When it comes to increasing your revenue potential, you must first gather readers and potential buyers to your brand and ministry. Without them, you can never expect to earn a single dollar to fund your writing business.
But how will you gather these audience members? Through social media exclusively? Through a mailing list campaign? The answers, Dear Writerpreneur, are a bit more complex.
The solution to building your audience is found in your ability to provide each person with a powerful, engaging experience from the moment visitors land on your website. And you can create this when you build a reader-based blog, which serves as your relationship-building tool. And here's how this works.
As I already mentioned, blogging is a type of content marketing tool, which enables you, the blogger and writer, to share your free content with your ideal readers.
Blogging is more than you sharing your own thoughts and feelings. It's about giving your readers an experience that they will enjoy.
Whether your blog's mission is to entertain, enlighten, or educate, your readers will come to value your free content, which paves the way for selling your paid resources (including your books).
But there's one major difference between successful and ineffective bloggers: And that's strategy.
Current research indicates that only about 19% of today's bloggers earn $100+ through their blog; and yet there are those who have generated millions of dollars through their writing.
How are they able to do this? What makes these bloggers more successful than others? Is it the type of content they write? Is it their particular audience? The answer is simply one based on strategy.
Bloggers who have learned to use their writing to earn money have discovered that this type of writing is a strategic promotional method that helps build an audience.
Through this method, readers come to learn about a business and brand; and as a result, audience members purchase products and services based on the value a business's blog brings.
But how does this apply to your writing ministry?
When you develop a strategic blog based on your brand, you invite more readers to your products (i.e. your books). And because your blog provides opportunities for your audience to glean from you, this encourages them to purchase what you sell.
But this can only be accomplished when you have learned how to create a strategy, one based on your readers' behavior and your market research. And this is what I teach you in my powerful webinar package.
Whether you have a blog already or have nothing at all, this resource will help you understand how to blog with purpose. In turn, your blog will help expand your brand, build a thriving audience, and generate sales for years to come.
This comprehensive package, which comes with a powerful e-book and workbook, highlights my own experiences, research, and best-practices.
I will share with you practical lessons that will help you cultivate a blog that revolutionizes your writing ministry. But there's more!
Your Webinar Package Features
During the webinar sessions, I will show you specific steps for establishing your effective blog plan. This strategy is based on what I have cultivated for my audience. I will show you why this strategy works well for me and any Christian Author who wants to take his or her blog to another level. This material is unlike what you read from various free sources.
While you can find related articles on how to blog, you won't find anything that will teach you how to embed this content marketing tool within your Christian authorship.
I know this because I searched for months, trying to find the right answers for my writing business. But I learned that in order to develop what I knew to be effective for me as a Christian Author specifically, I would have to develop something based on the best-practices of several successful business people.
And I've compiled this phenomenal research for you in my empowering webinar package.
The lessons that I teach you are the exact principles that I used to transform my writing ministry. Just read what my audience had to say about my blog after its redevelopment.
